inspired by the underground/psych comix posted a wee bit earlier…
what follows is an example of the work of shintaro kago. his work has been called “fashionable paranoia” by those hip ‘n’ catchy wordsmiths in the japanese press, it ties in with the manga tradition of ero guro (stop snoring at the back!), although shintaro himself refers to his work as “shit”. i’m not even joking. check it out:
