We have a new server and new connection! If you find you cannot log on, please use ssh.bbis.us (or 173.227.197.10)
All files have been transfered over; if anything is missing let me know and I'll restore it.
Make sure to start using the new server for IRC bouncers and what-not as the old server will not allow user logins starting next weekend.

Hard drive failed yesterday, moving all those drives to the new server must have made one unhappy! :)
Thankfully we had a spare, but now we're running without a spare so donations would be apprecated.

AT&T is introducing a bandwidth cap, so I will be switching ISPs in the near future. This may mean extended downtime for st0rage, so I would encourage you to make backups of all your important files.

st0rage will be moving to Ubuntu 10.04 (LTS) when it is released. I will let you know a week in advance when this downtime is happening. We will also be upgrading the hardware. :D

There will be downtime tomorrow August 21st as I reboot the server into a new kernel. After this /home will once again allow executables to be run and we'll be adding some more RAM.

Happy New Years, everyone. We had a connection issue when AT&T had some telco lines go down yesterday. Everything is back to normal.
I've also added password expiration (every 180 days); all current users will need to log in, set a new password and log back in again.
